Account Deletion Request

We value your privacy. If you wish to stop using MaziShare and have your data removed from our systems, follow the instructions below.

How to delete your account

The fastest way to delete your account is directly through the MaziShare mobile app:

  1. Open the MaziShare app on your device.
  2. Go to the Settings menu (cog icon).
  3. Select Account Settings.
  4. Tap on Delete Account.
  5. Confirm your choice. Your account and associated event data will be deleted immediately.

Alternative Request Method

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request manual deletion by contacting us at:

support@MaziShare.app

Please include the email address associated with your MaziShare account. Manual requests are processed within 48 hours.

Request Data Deletion (Without Account Deletion)

If you wish to delete specific event data without removing your entire MaziShare account, you can do so through the app:

  1. Open the MaziShare app.
  2. Navigate to your Event History or Dashboard.
  3. Find the specific event you wish to remove.
  4. Tap the Delete (trash) icon or swipe left on the event entry.
  5. Confirm deletion. This specific event metadata (name, folder link mapping) is purged from our systems immediately.

Alternatively, you can email support@MaziShare.app to request deletion of specific records or historical data without closing your account.

What data is deleted?

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently purged from our servers:

Account Information: Name, Email, and Provider IDs (Google/Dropbox).
Event History: All event names and access codes you hosted.
Preferences: Your app settings and themes.
Analytics: All personalized tracking data.

What data is kept?

Important: MaziShare does not store your photos on its servers. Your actual photos and videos are stored in your own Google Drive or Dropbox. Deleting your MaziShare account will NOT delete the files from your cloud storage. You must manage or delete those files directly through Google or Dropbox.

We may retain anonymized, aggregated usage data that does not identify you for technical improvement purposes.
